Jon has been working at Lloydminster Honda since the beginning of its time in 2008. There is rarely a time you won’t find him at the shop, he’s usually acting as Rapunzel up in his tower overlooking the dealership.
Jon’s first Honda was a XL80, we know “It's not a big motorcycle, just a groovy little motorbike” (Little Honda – The Hondells) but, he’s had a love for them ever since. He has been working in the automotive and powersports industry since 1999, making him “knowledgeable in all things”. If you can sing every word to Little Honda, come down to the shop and prove it, maybe he will cut you a deal.
Cheryl has been kicking around Lloyd Honda since it’s opening in 2008. She has been a proud Honda owner since 2005 and hasn’t looked back. Although, you may not see her for days on end, we promise she is real.
She is a proud and loving Nana and adores spending time with her family. When she has a spare moment you can find her hanging out in her garden or spending time with her husband and their dog.
Margo has been our beaming smile at reception since 2013. She is originally from Newfoundland but, established herself in Lloyd in 1997. Margo plays a big role in creating a family-like atmosphere at Lloyd Honda. Her contagious smile and bubbly personality always make you feel welcome, whether; you’re walking through the door or calling in.
Outside of work Margo loves to be outdoors with her family. She loves to sleep under the stars, burn down the hills on a sled and rip through the mud on a quad. When the weather isn’t so great, she keeps herself entertained with her variety of animals, husband and son included.
Kevin may be the new guy on the block but, he has the experience you’re looking for. He moved from the big town of Spirit Wood in 1991, the same year he married his beautiful wife. He was given an opportunity in 1996 to jump into the car industry so he did! He has spent 15+ years in finance and the rest of his time in sales.
Kevin originally wanted to be an accountant but, decided on a degree in fine arts instead (because that’s not totally opposite). He may share a birthday with Tom Selleck and have 3 genius kids but, he remains humble with his fishing, golfing and gardening abilities.
If you don’t already know Cynthia, you’ll meet her as soon as you walk through the front door. Her bubbly personality and laugh cannot be missed.
This princess loves to spend time with her kids (they are actually for sale). She is made of sugar though, so she will take a pass on the walks in the rain or any walk for that matter. We aren’t really sure what she likes to do outside of work besides cook some exotic “foods”.
You’ve most likely talked to Mel on the phone if you have ever called the service department. She is our little ray of sunshine on the gloomy days and is always more than happy to make sure your possessions are well taken care of during their time in our shop.
Mel is the Mama of the service group. She has 2 beautiful daughters who she loves so dearly. She’s always got the best snacks for when you’re not sure how you’ll make it through the day.
Sonny (Mr. Scott) has been part of the Lloyd Honda family since 2014 as one of our Honda Certified Automotive Mechanics. His humorous personality really adds to the fun work environment that embodies our dealership.
When Sonny isn’t working on cars, he’s spending time with his beautiful family and friends.
Gilles is our super skilled tradesman that hangs out in our back shop. He is actually a Red Seal Electrician that recently moved back to the great metropolis of Lloydminster from Edmonton. He may be French, but don’t let that stumble you because he only knows approximately 3 French words.
Gilles enjoys long walks in the rain across the car lot and hanging out with his Monkey, Goose and Burger (his nieces). You may be able to spot him at your local car show because some may call him a “car enthusiast”.
Taylor is our back parts tech. He rocks it with the shipping & receiving, inventory and parts orders. Some days he’s so quiet, you can’t tell if he’s back there. He is currently a second year parts apprentice and killing it!
When he’s not slaving away, he’s probably finding a way to injure himself. Whether it be on the back 9, hitting home runs or falling out of trees, he enjoys his time in the sun.
